A New Dawn

It may have bee 10 days since I last posted, but the have been many rumours and not too much action. But now we have a new board in place and there seems to be movement in the transfer market.
With Rozenhal pretty much in the bag, and Geremi expected to sign (potentially with Beye) later this week, Sam looks to have his squad in place. We would hope for further signings, but Sam will hopefully this week have a squad together to push the top 6 (prepare for a list below)...
GK - Given, Harper (Krul out on loan tbc)
RB - Beye (Geremi/Carr)
LB - Geremi (Carr/Babayaro)
CB - Taylor and Rozenhal (Beye/Ramage/Huntingdon/Edgar)
RM - Milner (Solano)
LM - Duff (Nzogbia)
CM - Barton and Emre (Butt/Pattinson/Dyer)
CF - Martins and Viduka (Owen?/Ameobi/Carroll)
That gives us a squad of 26 which is pretty strong, and the only obvious gaps being a natural LB and potential replacement for Owen.
There is a huge amount of speculation on a variety of other signings (especially the likes of Boateng and Richters, who would cost less than £2m), but the squad seems to be nearly there to start building on and that has to be a good thing.
